Get on the Costa Rica Real Estate Train PDF Print E-mail

May 10, 2009 – Costa Rica real estate in Heredia just got better with the San Jose-Heredia rail line which is due to open at the end of this month. Costa Rica real estate brokers have high hopes for the train because it would make real estate properties for sale in Heredia more attractive to potential buyers.

The new railways is expected to make about 42 trips from San Jose to Heredia each day which would lighten the traffic during rush hours as well as make the commute easier to people going back and forth from Heredia to San Jose on a regular basis.

The train will make 2 stops between San Jose and Heredia and the fair is expected to be 350 colons according to the Authoridad Reguladora de Servicios Públicos.

According to an immigration website report, changes have been made to the proposed immigration bill that would cushion the new requirements for foreigners wanting to live in Costa Rica.
